Search 

You can search for photos using either keyword search or the advanced filtering form.

Keyword Search:

To search for photos using keyword, enter your search term in the Search input box located on the top left corner. When you type more than 3 letters, LAMU will start looking for matches and the search result will be displayed.

LAMU will search Albums, Events, File Names, People, Places, Special Days, and Tags to find matches. Clicking on any of the item in the search results will show photos for that item.

 

 

Advanced Filtering:

When you click the Search Box, the "Advanced Search" button will be displayed on the top Action Bar. Click the button will display the Advanced Search Form.

In advanced search, you can use filters such as date range, country, state/province, camera make/model, and media types to find photos matching the specified criteria.  

 

 

 

Find Similar Photos:

When you click the Search Box, the "Advanced Search" button will be When you click the Search Box, the "Similar Photos" button will be displayed on the top Action Bar.

The purpose of photo similarity search is to help identify photos that look alike. LAMU will automatically filter out exact copies of same files. When you take multiple shots of the same scene, or if you edit a photo and save the edited photo, these are distinct files and LAMU will import all of them. If you wish to keep only one photo from a series of shots, you can use this feature to identify all look-alike photos to review and delete unwanted photos.
