Import Photos From Removable Media
When you plug in a removable media, Windows will assign a drive letter to the media. Importing from the drive is similar to import from hard drives. You can select specific folders or the entire drive from import from.
For Cameras and Camcorders, the fastest way to import photos is to take out the SD Card or Flash Card and put them in your computer's card reader if you have one on your computer. Otherwise you can connect your camera/camcorder to your computer using a USB port. Windows will assign a drive letter to the camera/camcorder. Sometimes a camera may have multiple drive letters assigned. Make sure you choose the one that has photos to import. Typically the photos are stored in a DCIM folder and videos are stored in AVHD folder.
