Access Photos from Other Devices 

The main LAMU application runs on Windows only. However, you can access all your photos stored in LAMU from any of your devices that has a web browser, this includes Smart Phones, Tablets, Smart TVs, Mac, Linux, and other Windows PCs. The access is only available for devices that are connected to the same network as the PC that LAMU is running on. To start viewing photos from devices, click on “Enable Device Access” button at the bottom of the main menu, as shown in the screenshot below:  

Allowing communication from other devices to the computer where LAMU is running requires elevated privilege. A message box will be displayed.

After you click OK, Windows might prompt your to give permission for the elevated privilege. Click Allow. Then LAMU Device Access Service windows will be displayed as shown in the screenshot below:  

The URL and the QR Code will be displayed after you Click Enable Device Access button. You can then access all your photos from your devices using a web browser. If your device has a camera, simply scan the QR code using the camera on the device, otherwise type the URL into your favorite browser. Below is an example screen shot of photos viewed from phone.  

When viewing photos from devices, you can browse your photos by Timeline, Events, Special Days, People, Places, Albums, Tags, and Favorites.
